Fausto Paravidino, one of the past fifteen years’ most acclaimed Italian playwrights, has authored and dramatised this novel that describes a family’s life from the 1960’s, when the parents of Emma – a girl who has mysteriously disappeared – first meet, up to the present day. The story is set in a small, densely populated town. The play has a cast of eight young performers and is a scathing, ironic and profound account of art, politics, terrorism, relationships and the environment.
