Just over twenty years later, the Marcido family is back again with its memorable Happy Days in Marcido’s Field, a reinterpretation of Beckett’s Happy Days. Paolo Oricco and Maria Luisa Abate, who was the lead in the original production, take turns in playing Winnie, thus enhancing the original mise-en-sc\u00e8ne with a novel presence and vocal style. A male performance that neither has, nor intends to convey, any connotations of transvestitism.<\/p>\n
