Natalino Balasso has rewritten a work by Angelo Beolco, also known as Ruzante, and performs this new play based on his painstaking linguistic research with Andrea Collavino and Marta Cortellazzo Wiel. A trio of wretches, who communicate in a hilarious neo-dialect, find a strong link with Balasso’s comic style in the Venetian playwright’s provocative violence.<\/p>\n
