Ariosto As Seen By Calvino<\/strong><\/p>\n

Where do things that are lost on Earth go? Orlando loses his mind on the Moon, the place of all our aspirations and the sum of all stories; he is its prisoner. And what’s left? Forever on his quest, Orlando travels across a barren, now moon-like Earth. He finds the solution to his story in the Tarot, in interwoven fragments of a poem that restore his senses amidst Kings and Queens of swords, Knights of clubs, Chariot, Sun and Fool. Based on an idea by\u00a0Pietrangelo Buttafuoco, we experience an encounter between Ariosto and Calvino (whose centenary falls in 2023) that becomes fertile ground for an evocative narrative in which missed opportunities become simultaneous plots brimming with new developments.\u00a0Graziano Piazza\u00a0directs the play while performing with\u00a0Viola Graziosi, Irene Paoloma Jona,\u00a0and\u00a0Nicola Morucci.<\/p>\n
