Giuseppe Mazzini, Gabriele D\u2019Annunzio, and Filippo Tommaso Marinetti: three remarkable Italians, each with an extraordinary life, vision, and legacy. This is the subject of Edoardo Sylos Labini\u2019s new show, written in collaboration with dramaturg Angelo Crespi. Adapted from the RAI Cultura and Educational program Inimitabili\u2014now divided into three chapters staged on three separate evenings\u2014Sylos Labini\u2019s performance is accompanied by the original music of Maestro Sergio Colicchio and archival videos and images. These elements guide the audience through the lives of these courageous, nonconformist men who shaped Italy\u2019s cultural imagination. Above all hovers the power of the spoken word, and the longing for expression, which\u2014amidst their differences\u2014binds the works of the three protagonists.<\/p>\n
