Writer and director Leonardo Petrillo retraces the key moments of the apostle\u2019s life\u2014portrayed by Ettore Bassi\u2014from his first encounter with Jesus to the tragic end, offering us a different, multifaceted portrait: a man marginalized for centuries, who rebels against collective consciousness and returns to tell us that his condemnation is not eternal. It will end when pride, greed, and vanity\u2014the roots of evil\u2014are eradicated, and humanity is no longer imprisoned by prejudice.<\/p>\n
