Arturo Cirillo brings to the stage a social mystery tinged with psychological thriller elements. Amid eerie sounds and stark lighting, this new production reveals the intertwined lives of two lonely figures who have always kept each other company: a mother and daughter, locked in constant conflict, portrayed within a dingy Milan apartment filled with suspicion and clues. Sergio Pierattini’s text—written with Milvia Marigliano in mind (to whom he previously dedicated Ombretta Calco and Un mondo perfetto)—is a dark comedy that exposes the poverty, even economic, of our times, marked by a distinctly Italian humor and cynicism. Completing the cast are Linda Gennari as the daughter and Raffaele Barca.
