Now in its eighth edition, Retroscena confirms itself as one of the most eagerly awaited and appreciated moments of meeting and exchange between the artists and the audience, with its rich programme in synergy with the Teatro Stabile di Torino’s programme of performances. Students, teachers, subscribers and the merely curious find themselves face to face with directors, actors, playwrights, set designers and light designers to discover the behind the scenes and to appreciate every single details of the shows that the Teatro Stabile di Torino puts on stage.

Each event is introduced by a professor from the University of Turin – the initiative’s partner of excellence of the project – who dialogues with the artists to analyse every aspects of the production, learn how to read theatre through the eyes of those who animate it, revealing the hidden plots, curiosities and anecdotes that make theatre an irresistible place. Teachers and academics  of the University of Turin lead the meetings, which this year take place at the at the Caffetteria Lavazza, in the courtly setting of the Teatro Carignano.  Free Entry
