Anna Cappelli is a shy typist with a desperate desire to settle down. She lives in a rented room, dreams of love, and when she starts a relationship with her colleague Tonino, she believes she’s finally made it. But he has no intention of living with her—and so, for love (and not only for that), Anna makes a radical decision… A black comedy woven from obsession and loneliness, this play explores the role of women through time: independence, the hope for a future, isolation, and the lack of means and opportunities. With biting humor, Annibale Ruccello guides us through the intricate maze of a character full of contradictions, portrayed here by Valentina Picello, returning to work with Argentine director and playwright Claudio Tolcachir.
