[ILIAD] begins with a simple yet dizzying question: is it still possible, today, to choose not to fight? Rather than a faithful adaptation of Homer’s epic, it is a political and poetic journey through its blazing heart. Myth becomes a gateway to the present: to today’s wars, the actors’ own lives and the images that inhabit our time. The result is a production that builds a continuous bridge between past and present, between Troy and Kabul, Achilles and Kate, Andromache and the women of today, Patroclus and the companions who will never return home.

ENERGIE NOVE
ollowing its successful first edition, Energie Nove returns to Fonderie Limone Moncalieri. Dedicated to young graduates of the Teatro Stabile di Torino’s drama school and emerging talents in contemporary theatre, the showcase takes its name from Piero Gobetti’s magazine, reflecting its commitment to cultural and artistic renewal and its vision of art as a means of fostering civic engagement. The project is integral to the Teatro Stabile’s role as a centre for training and supporting new generations of theatre-makers, nurturing young talent through production opportunities and a platform for their work. Bringing together diverse theatrical languages and new writing, the programme places experimentation and a plurality of voices at its heart. Each evening, two productions share the stage, highlighting a theatrical landscape in constant evolution.
