This text by the very young Benedetta Pigoni won the 2023 Riccione Prize “Pier Vittorio Tondelli” for best under-30 play. It tells the seemingly simple story of a young woman and her phone, but in truth, it whispers a suspicion, probes what has been repressed, and clinically dissects the present. Directed by Paola Rota, the piece explores how the phone becomes an intimate space where the protagonist, journeying through apps and messages, confronts a hidden trauma: a gang rape.
