Essere umani (Being Human) is the title of the 70th Season of the Teatro Stabile di Torino – National Theatre, founded on May 27, 1955. To celebrate this important milestone, the programme will present 93 productions from September 2025 to July 2026, both in-house and on tour, including 25 productions and co-productions, 13 national premieres, 54 guest performances, and 14 shows as part of Torinodanza.

The traditional initiative that brings Shakespearean masterpieces to one of the city’s most evocative settings will, for the 2024/2025 season, feature two comedies: The Winter’s Tale and Love’s Labour’s Lost, directed by Jurij Ferrini. These two brilliant plays span different moments of William Shakespeare’s career and are set in Italy and Spain—ideal locations for stories of love, misunderstandings, suspicion, and happy endings.
