THE STORY OF AN ABSURD INTENTION

One of the leading figures of Argentina’s prolific nouvelle-vague playwriting, Tolcachir is today acknowledged as a versatile talent and the sensitive author of surreal and touching stories that address the complexity of relationships. This entertaining comedy focuses on a group of colleagues stranded in a run-down office rife with love, betrayal, ambition, frustration and hope. Rosario Lisma, Stella Piccioni, Valentina Picello, Giorgia Senesi and Emanuele Turetta lend themselves and their voices to the story: they are characters in a state of crisis, each relying on a project (a job, a love affair or a child) to rediscover themselves.
