After the success of Qualcuno volò sul nido del cuculo (One flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest), Alessandro Gassmann directs another production based on a movie that made film history. Enrico Ianniello’s rewriting of the script combines the original American mood with Naples in the 1980s. The lively cast, led by Daniele Russo, galvanises a plot that creates strong parallels between the port mafia in Marlon Brando’s film, and Naples’ Camorra.
