Leonardo Lidi graduated from the Scuola per Attori dello Stabile (School for the Actors of the Stabile) and quickly attained prestigious accolades. In 2018 he won the Venice Biennale College for his re-writing of Ghosts. In this new production, he explores García Lorca’s masterpiece that was completed just two months before the author’s brutal assassination. The play is a family drama in which the character of Bernarda Alba, a ruthless matriarch, swings between love and oppression. Francesca Mazza and Orietta Notari are part of the cast.
