Stefano Massini returns to his decade-long work on Sigmund Freud’s The Interpretation of Dreams and to some of the recurrent questions that prompted his work: Where do we go when we dream? What do we attempt to communicate to ourselves in that suspended, intermediate space that receives us as soon as we close our eyes? Massini uses his narrative flair to answer these questions, presenting a colourful mosaic of characters on stage. As they describe their dreams, they compose a symphony of images and possible interpretations, with which audiences will have no difficulty identifying. Massini performs this entirely new piece, with music by Enrico Fink performed by Rachele Innocenti (violin), Damiano Terzoni (guitars) and Saverio Zacchei (trombone and keyboards).
