Elio De Capitani presents a forgotten masterpiece by Welles that was first staged in New York in 1955 starring the great director in the role of Ahab. It was intended to be released as a film but the project was never completed. The play celebrates the endless pursuit of a limit to overcome and Welles’ frenzy as a playwright, obsessed with the narrative and musical rhythm of his stage creativity.
