Her younger sister tries everything she can to contact a ghost. A white dog, unseen on a pedestrian crossing, is run over on New Year’s Eve. That same night, another young woman is determined to lose her virginity. One hundred and fifty people try to enter Area 51, but there could have been two and a half million. ENERGIE NOVE
Following its successful first edition, Energie Nove returns to Fonderie Limone Moncalieri. Dedicated to young graduates of the Teatro Stabile di Torino’s drama school and emerging talents in contemporary theatre, the showcase takes its name from Piero Gobetti’s magazine, reflecting its commitment to cultural and artistic renewal and its vision of art as a means of fostering civic engagement. The project is integral to the Teatro Stabile’s role as a centre for training and supporting new generations of theatre-makers, nurturing young talent through production opportunities and a platform for their work. Bringing together diverse theatrical languages and new writing, the programme places experimentation and a plurality of voices at its heart. Each evening, two productions share the stage, highlighting a theatrical landscape in constant evolution.
