What Walruses Know

An icebreaker is sailing to the South Pole to save the Earth. Yet, despite the impending calamity, our attention, and that of the three main characters, focuses on something different: identity, conventions and the rules of language are breaking down. A slow catastrophe is underway; everything is endlessly shifting, thus making it impossible to make sense of anything. Poised between the surreal and the real, Liv Ferracchiati (1985), one of her generation’s most acclaimed directors and playwrights, prompts us to acknowledge the pointlessness of “established” models and urges us to listen to ourselves. Andrea Cosentino, Liv Ferracchiati and Petra Valentini make up the cast.
