Five Invectives, Seven Women And A Funeral
Five 20th-century women artists, Dora Maar, Amelia Rosselli, Carol Rama, Maria Lai and Lisetta Carmi take to the stage to speak out one last time. These vital, passionate, yet vulnerable, determined and revolutionary creatures each step virtually onto the stage to tell us who they indeed are. The play draws on Così è la vita – imparare a dirsi addio (That’s Life – Learning to Say Goodbye) (Einaudi 2012), a book Concita De Gregorio’s wrote after her father’s death. Young singer-songwriter, Erica Mou, accompanies her performance.
